We absolutely love our Bcompact Side Folding Stairs made in Australia from Bamboo! They are both beautiful and functional. We have been impressed with the build quality and have made some personalisations to them to improve the design for our use. First we modified the top fixed step. Since we have a left turn at the top, we made the step larger and square facilitating a comfortable transition into the mezzanine and allowing the optional gate to work. We also incorporated a couple of our earlier design ideas into it to make it fit with the modern smart home vibe. The top step appears to be float in the air and its center is completely transparent thanks to a large glass insert.

When designing our new home, we had a sloped-roof room above our garage that we thought would be perfect for a kids loft / play room and extra sleeping space. The issue was how to access the space given the floor layout that we developed. This is where the Bcompact ladder came into the design. With the foldaway design, it accommodated our layout and added a cool architectural feature to the hallway. When it was delivered, it was very straightforward to assemble. The installation instructions were meticulous, well illustrated and tailored to each assembly configuration.

We have enjoyed this added feature in our home and so have the grandchildren! They see the ladder as the gateway to their secret hideaway!.

Great company and a great product. Everyone was so helpful every step of the way and the install by the guys went in without any issues.
